Landscape Maintenance Fast Tips

  • The proper maintenance of shrubs will enhance the overall appearance as well as the health and vigor of the plants. Diseased plants may need treatment or may need to be removed, depending on the species. All plants benefit from having a full growing season to establish before next winter.
  • Fertilizing gives your grass nutrients to grow strong and healthy.
  • At least three inches of rock mulch or four inches of natural mulch will prevent weeds. Edging will prevent your grass from growing into your beds, and keep them both looking neater. Cut to the right height: the grass will be healthier, look better, and—most importantly—last through the season without dying out.
  • Perennials and annuals will be removed from planting beds and the mulch layer raked smooth.
  • Spring flower bulbs need to be planted in the fall. The types of shrubs and the colors you have to choose from are totally astonishing.
  • Weeds are sprayed as needed and with each fertilizer application. Weed control is obtained by applying a spray liquid product. All fertilizer applications are completed using a slow-release granular product.
  • One application of insecticide may not destroy grubs in every stage, so additional applications may become necessary if property is infested. You need the proper nutrition to stay healthy and so does your lawn.
  • Fall pruning will be conducted one time in late fall
